Using the audio guide below, sing each of the practical vowel sounds throughout your whole range, focusing on each vowel position as you ascend – making sure to modify your vowel as you reach each resonance chamber. Again, don’t worry about your tone or being ‘loud’ – can you hear how light and gentle I’m being? You’ll notice in the next part of The Lazy Warmup that my singing voice is actually MUCH more resonant and full than this – we’re just warming up at this point! If you’re super confused about all this vowel talk, then please do let me know what’s going on in the ‘leave a reply’ box below and we’ll work on it when you next book a session.

Hit “next” when you’re ready to move on!

    1. Honestly, not really! You need the right approach and technique, but actual scales are pretty useless unless you have the right techniques working together.

Of course, the more you sing with the right technique, the BETTER you’ll get – so both yes and no. πŸ™‚

      All the best,
